He has performed major works at the Barbican Hall, Sadler’s Wells and the Wigmore Hall all to great acclaim. A versatile artist, he has performed Handel’s Messiah for the Prince of Wales and taken a lead role on London’s West End stage. He has also been broadcast numerous times for the BBC in opera and concert. A Samling Scholar, he studied with Sir Thomas Allen and today has established himself as one of Australia’s premiere lieder singers.

Since returning to Australia he has performed with Victorian Opera, Opera Queensland, Pinchgut Opera, the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and the Sydney Philharmonia among many others.
Christopher’s future plans include recordings of Schubert, Schumann and further exploring the songs of the great English composers.
